Dr. Donald Tapp earned a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Biology from the University of Utah, then went on to Dental School at Creighton University where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery. He then was accepted to Marquette University where he completed a 2-year residency in Orthodontics obtained his specialty certificate, and earned his Master’s Degree. He graduated with honors in each of these institutions, he loves practicing orthodontics and for the past 20 years he has made it his hobby as well as his vocation. He understands how orthodontics can make a huge difference in patients’ lives. He is always amazed and knows of no greater professional satisfaction than to see someone truly transform as they smile. He watches his patients as they find a greater sense of self confidence. Dr. Tapp is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics, the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontics and all affiliated local societies. He has been Board Certified from the American Board of Orthodontics, the Midwest Society of Orthodontics, and has been elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society which allows only the top 2% of dentists in their society. When he is not working on improving your smile, he enjoys reading mostly biographies or true stories. He has five boys and he loves spending as much time with them as possible. He loves aviation, especially small aircraft and aviation history.
