When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Gay enjoys spending time with his wife, Jackie, and their two boys, hiking, biking, canoeing, ATVing, reading, and traveling. His travels have taken him all over the world and he has lived in Argentina, Japan, and Italy. He speaks Spanish fluently, a little bit of Japanese, and is working on improving his Italian.
Dr. Gay has been practicing dentistry for over 17 years. He served for 5 highly decorated years in the United States Air Force where he completed an advanced education in general dentistry residency with training in IV sedation and advanced surgical techniques. He was the provider who was most called upon to repair lip lacerations and referred to for the most complex surgical cases. After his Air Force service, Dr. Gay practiced in a successful private practice in Eugene, Oregon for 12 years where he provided most of the oral surgery care for the clinic. He especially enjoys treating wisdom teeth and has enjoyed a reputation for being gentle while providing the highest quality of care.
